đŸŽ¯ This Week’s Challenge

Each week has a special photography challenge and an inspiring quote
at the top of the upload page.

The challenge gives you a creative prompt — like photographing textures, capturing movement,
or telling a story with objects. You don’t have to do it, but it’s a fun way to stretch your skills!

If your photo is your response to the challenge, make sure to check the
“Challenge Accepted!” box when you upload.

📷 Tips for Taking Great Photos

  • Get closer — Fill the frame with your subject
  • Try different angles — Get low, get high, look from the side
  • Notice the light — Soft light makes gentle photos; strong light makes dramatic ones
  • Look for patterns and textures — They’re everywhere!
  • Take your time — The best photos come from really seeing
  • Photograph the same thing multiple ways — Your 5th shot might be the best one

🔒 Your Privacy

A few things to know:

  • No login needed — Just use your first name
  • Location info is removed — GPS data is automatically stripped from your photos
  • Only your class can see the gallery — It’s not public on the internet

🙋 Need Help?

If something isn’t working or you have questions:

  • Ask your teacher!
  • Check that your photo is a HEIC, JPG, or PNG file. (iPad photos are HEIC by default)
  • Make sure you’ve filled in all the required fields (name, title, caption)
  • Try refreshing the page if something seems stuck

Happy photographing!
